A Fast-Paced Start to 2026!

Hello! Iโ€™m Deepti ๐Ÿ‘‹

Hope you all had a great January and enjoyed the great weather we had. Let me say this, if January is any indication, 2026 is moving fast โ€” and the Bay Area market is clearly awake.

We kicked off the new year seeing remarkable momentum in the Bay Area real estate market. Home staging requests came in quickly and January was one for the books โ€” we saw three staged homes went under contract within two weeks, including one that sold after just one weekend of showings! That kind of momentum has kept us busy and fully engaged from day one of this new year.

While macroeconomic data like stabilizing mortgage rate and improving consumer sentiment help frame the broader picture, our experience shows:

  • Prepared, well-priced homes are still selling fast

  • Staging remains a powerful tool to stand out in competitive showings

  • Buyers are ready โ€” they are qualified, active, and decisive

With inventory still constrained relative to long-term averages and buyers looking for move-in ready options, homes that are thoughtfully presented continue to outperform expectations.

Looking Ahead

As we move into March, the seasonal spring market will likely build even more momentum. If mortgage rates remain stable and consumer confidence holds, we may well see another wave of motivated buyers pushing more transactions into contract months earlier than in recent years.

Whether youโ€™re planning to list soon or just watching the market unfold, weโ€™re here to help you strategize the best way to present your property to sell quickly.

Weโ€™re currently fully booked for February and are actively scheduling projects for March.

Wish you all a successful February! Follow us on Instagram and check our Portfolio page as we share our work.

Warm regards,

Deepti

3 Simple Ways to Make Living Spaces Feel Larger (and More Inviting!)

Living areas do the heavy lifting during showings โ€” this is where buyers pause, sit, and imagine everyday life. A few thoughtful adjustments can make these rooms feel more open, balanced, and welcoming:

1. Right-Size the Furniture
Oversized pieces can quickly make a room feel tight. Choosing furniture that fits the scale of the space helps maintain clear walkways and allows the architecture to shine.

2. Anchor with the Right Rug
A rug thatโ€™s too small can visually shrink a room. Use one that comfortably fits under the front legs of seating to define the space and create a sense of cohesion.

3. Simplify Surfaces
Coffee tables, side tables, and shelves should feel styled โ€” not crowded. Edit down to a few intentional pieces to keep the room feeling light and easy to navigate.

Bonus Tip: Layer lighting with a mix of table and floor lamps to soften the space and create a warm, lived-in feel buyers respond to.
